01 — Identity

The mark.

A friendly orange book icon paired with a clean Inter wordmark. The icon represents the act of capturing and condensing information into a compact, readable form.

02 — Palette

Warm orange. Clean white. Quiet greys.

A simple, friendly palette built around a single accent. Orange for energy and action, neutrals for everything else.

03 — Typography

Inter, used carefully.

One font does almost everything: Inter, set tightly. JetBrains Mono shows up for timestamps and code. Nothing else.

04 — Voice

Sound like a smart friend.

Direct, observational, slightly opinionated. RecapGPT is named after a chatbot but should never sound like one — the voice is plainspoken, confident, and a little dry.

★ Do

"The end of watching three-hour podcasts."

Specific, takes a position, a little funny. Stakes a clear claim.
✕ Don't

"Unlock the power of AI to summarize content effortlessly."

Vague verbs, no point of view, "AI" as decoration. Could be any product.
★ Do

"Built for people who'd rather read than rewind."

Names a real audience. Plays on a familiar word pair. Uses contraction.
✕ Don't

"Empower your productivity with cutting-edge solutions."

Buzzword stack. No subject. Reader has no idea what's being sold.
05 — Principles

The non-negotiables.

01

Reading over watching

Always position the product as a way to read instead of watch — never as a "video tool."

02

Clean, not cold

White backgrounds, generous spacing, soft shadows. Friendly — not sterile.

03

One accent, used carefully

Orange only on actions, callouts, and key emphasis. Restraint over saturation.

04

Mono for machine

JetBrains Mono signals computation — timestamps, code. Never set body text in mono.

05

Accent the verb

The orange highlight always lands on the action word. "End of watching." "Rather read."

06

No exclamation marks

RecapGPT is direct, not enthusiastic. Confidence reads as quiet, not loud.
