1. The 14-day guarantee
If you're not happy with RecapGPT within 14 days of your first paid charge, email support@recapgpt.com with your account email and we'll issue a full refund. No questions, no exit interview.
This applies once per customer, on the first paid subscription only.
2. After 14 days
Refunds outside the 14-day window are case-by-case. We'll generally consider refunds for:
- Service outages that materially affected your use
- Accidental subscription renewals where you clearly hadn't used the product
- Billing errors or duplicate charges
- Significant feature regressions
We generally won't refund for: subscriptions where you've used the service heavily, forgotten cancellations after extended use, or annual plans more than 30 days into the term.
3. Annual plans
If you're on an annual plan and want to downgrade or cancel, contact us within 30 days of renewal for a prorated refund. After 30 days, annual plans are non-refundable, but you keep access until the term ends.
4. How to request a refund
Email support@recapgpt.com with your account email and the charge or invoice number. We respond within 2 business days; approved refunds process within 5-10 business days.
5. Free trial
The Free plan is free indefinitely — nothing to refund. Pro is $5.99/mo and you can cancel anytime from your account settings; the cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
